Es una de las infecciones bacterianas m\u00e1s comunes en todo el mundo y generalmente se adquiere durante la infancia. Muchas personas con infecci\u00f3n por H. pylori no presentan s\u00edntomas; sin embargo, en algunos casos puede provocar gastritis, \u00falceras p\u00e9pticas e incluso c\u00e1ncer de est\u00f3mago si no se trata adecuadamente.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">H. pylori sobrevive en el ambiente \u00e1cido del est\u00f3mago mediante la producci\u00f3n de enzimas que neutralizan el \u00e1cido, lo que le permite colonizar la mucosa del est\u00f3mago.
