Sin embargo, aproximadamente el 10% de los pacientes pueden desarrollar s\u00edntomas en un plazo de 5 a\u00f1os, y alrededor del 20% en un plazo de 20 a\u00f1os tras el diagn\u00f3stico. Es importante reconocer que los s\u00edntomas causados por los c\u00e1lculos biliares pueden ser tanto cr\u00f3nicos como epis\u00f3dicos, lo que se conoce como c\u00f3lico biliar.
